So I finished three books the last few weeks. Those three books are Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan, I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore and Where She Went by Gayle Forman. All in reverse order. I also wanted to review them all.

I really wanted to read this book because my brother said the movie is awesome. I saw the movie and I loved it so so much! I was hard starting the book because the prologue thingie confused me, but then I started the first chapter and I started liking it.
The simplest synopsis I can give you is this: nine children had been send to earth along with their cēpan from their planet which has been destroyed by another alien species. They have special powers and they are killed by the Mogadorians so that they can stop them from joining their forces agains the Mogadorians and get their planet back.
Characters:
The first character I want to talk about is John Smith aka. Number Four. I had a love-hate relationship with him. I liked him at times, he's lovely, but he is a bit dumb. Y U NO KEEP LOW KEY!! Also, I didn't like the relationship development between him and Sarah. I thought it was a tiny bit rushed, and I was used to romances being built up, not like love-at-first-sight-y. I loved every parts when he and Bernie were in them! I love that dog so much! Now a bit about Henri, which everyone knows that is his father, but in fact is his cēpan. A cēpan is a person that keeps an eye on someone or something (old english. Dayum I love wikipedia!!) He seemed like the nicest person alive. I liked him more than I liked John. He was a complex character. Even if he wasn't John's father, I loved the way he looked after him, never giving up, and always trying his best to protect him. He was also really smart. I loved the way the writers described his first meeting with John and his grandfather.
Plot:
As I said before, I didn't like the way they begun the book. They could at least have name the chapter differently. Something like the location and the date of the happenings. I liked the when the first chapter started, I could paint a picture in my head of the back story and everything. I loved that the action started right at the beginning of the book, and it didn't take multiple chapters to lead you to the action.I loved that John explained so many things, like why they had to move so often and why he had to keep it low key. Even though he was a little fuck and didn't do it. It was a good read. It had it's flaws, but in the end, I do want to continue the series, even though I don't want it to happen right now.

I don't want to make a synopsis of it because I'm going to spoil the book for you. If you want to read the book, and haven't yet, please don't read any more.
So three years after Mia's accident, Adam is in New York, with his band, living a famous life, having a famous girlfriend. Mia got accepted in Julliard. Her and Adam's paths have been changed and they think that they will never meet again. But their paths will cross again, when they less expect it.
Characters:
This book isn't narrated by Mia, it's narrated by Adam, her ex-boyfriend.The thing I like most about this book is the fact that Adam is narrating it. I love the fact that we learn SO much about him and you somehow start being very fond of him. You might doubt his decisions at some points, but I think that you will connect with him rapidly.
The other character in the story that is very important is Mia. She is the narrator of the first book, and in the first book you connect with her and her thoughts. WHen she comes into the story of the second book, you just want to read more and more! It's exactly what happened to me! I couldn't disconnect from the story. I really liked Mia because she was really kind with Adam and did not judge him when he asked her why she left him behind and everything else.
Plot:
Both the first and second books have some kind of a pattern: one chapter is about the thing that is happening at that moment, and the next chapter is about a story from the past. It kind of makes you want to read more. For me it was a motivator for me to finish that chapter so I can reach the next chapter to see what happens. It was a really well written book. I think that it wasn't enough. I wanted so much more after that! I do think that the ending was really good. Usually last books in series are really bad *cough*mockingjay*cough*, however, this one was really really good!
This is one of my favourite parts of the book. I also loved the book because it was really funny at times, and Mia is hilarious sometimes!
“Lady Liberty’s going commando,” I say. “That is so
French!”
Mia cracks up at that. “Do you think she ever flashes
the tourists?”
“No way! Why do you think she has that private little
look on her face? All those red-state puritans coming by
the boatload, never once suspecting that Old Libs hasn’t
got panties on. She’s probably sporting a Brazilian.”
“Okay, I need to lose that visual,” Mia groans. “And
might I remind you that we’re from a red state—
sort of.”
“Oregon’s a divided state,” I reply. “Rednecks to the
east, hippies to the west.”
“Speaking of hippies, and going commando . . .”
“Oh, no. Now that’s a visual I really don’t need.”
I recommend this book to absolutely everyone. But only read this book if you finished the first. I just loved it!

This book is about a guy named Paul that is gay and he meets another guy at a library at which a friend of his played, called Noah, and he instantly knows that there's something he likes at him.
Characters:
The main character in this book is, obviously, Paul. He is a really lovable and adorable! He doesn't run around hallways or streets shouting the fact that he's gay. I have a classmate that keeps being very dramatic about everything, and abuses the gayness in him. He's not even gay! He's bisexual! Anyhow, Paul is really adorable and I love his relationship with his best friend Tony! Even if his parents are asses (Tony's).Another significant character is Noah. He is an artist and paints music as a hobby. His parents made him and his sister move a lot because of their jobs, but they settled in this new city where Paul lives and he goes to the same school as he does. So their parents go to work where they are needed, and they are barely at home. He is a really lovely person and I love him so much! I love the fact that he's an artist. I tried imagining his paintings and they seemed like the best things ever!
Plot:
The plot of this book is really simple: a love between two people sparks and then it sets on fire later. I didn't noticed this like I did at Delirium, but the flame between Paul and Noah didn't seem to spread like wildfire. By that I mean that after they got together they didn't look as though they knew each other for a lifetime and knew every dirty little secret about each other. The sparks beautifully developed into flames and the flames kept burning until Paul did a stupid thing. I really enjoyed the pace of the book. It wasn't fast paced, nor slow paced. I know this has been David Levithan's first book, and I understand that there are some things that aren't really logical, so I'm not going to be too judge-y about it.I hope you enjoyed this ginormous blog post and that you read these books with the same enjoyment as mine!
Goodbye,
Jae.
