I WROTE A FUCKING PROLOGUE!

I WROTE A FUCKING PROLOGUE AND I'M KINDA PROUD OF IT! I did this for the last 20 minutes, so it's pretty lame, but I'm simply doing this for fun, so I can practice, or whatever. Otherwise, I over-think it and it just gets shitty.

SO HERE IT IS!

Prologue

“No! NO! NO!” she shouted, forcing the door closed, “DON’T TAKE HER! LEAVE HER ALONE! SHE’S JUST A CHILD!”
“We will not obey you! We have been sent by The Highest Authority. Your daughter is needed. “ the soldier said.
“Why! Why is she so important that you have to take her all of the sudden, with no notice? SHE’S ONLY 4! WHY WOULD YOU NEED HER?!” she shouted. She didn’t care if the neighbours heard her.
“This matter does not bother you.”
“YES, IT DOES! SHE’S MY DAUGHTER! YOU’RE NOT TAKING HER!” she pushed the door closed, but the soldier blew the door open. She runs upstairs before the soldier gets there. Clara was sound asleep in her small bedroom. The walls were packed with stars and maps and words. The window was surrounded by bookshelfs full of thick books you wouldn’t usually find in a 4 year old child’s room. Olivia rushed to take her from her bed and escape with her through the window. But, by the time she reached for the window, she already could feel the breath of the soldier on the back of her neck. He pulled her so she faced him, and slapped her. She fell on the floor, dropping Clara. The soldier ripped Clara from her mother’s arms, marching with her out of the room, down the stairs, outside of the house. There, a black hovering car was waiting for him.
“Got her?” the driver asked with a half-smile.
“I did, of course.” he answered.
“Good. The Highest Authority is waiting.”
“You should step on it, then” he said, placing the small child on the backseat, gently, not to wake her up.

It's kinda lame, and it's kinda short, but it's only a prologue, and it's not meant to be long. So I THINK THIS IS FINE! I hope you enjoy it, or whatever. List your opinion below, cuz I won't mind.

Well,
Goodbye,
Again,
E.

  1. Ohhh, I love it!!! I'm super interested in this. Like, who is The Highest Authority and what does he need a 4 year old for?! Are you going to continue writing? (You totally should)

  2. Holy shit! That was a fast answer! Well, the highest authority is this dude and no one calls him other than that and he's an ass. He needs a 4 year old cuz clara is a genius, hence the thick books, and he'll plug her brain to a computer and do stuff. I haven't had that figured out yet, but I'll make it as I write, otherwise, this will nevee happen.
