Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't.
I began reading this quite a long ago and I did enjoy it but then Alex got in the story and all got a tiny bit annoying. And then I gave it to my best friend before finishing it and then I got it back and I finished it. I was quite pleased with the ending! Will continue the series!
Characters:
Lena was a nice character. She wasn't an idiot. I could find myself in her in a lot of situations. I quite liked her. She sometimes seemed like a whinny bitch, but I can cope with that. I loved that she really cared about her little cousin, Grace, and I basically started tearing up when Grace finally spoke. Alex was really awesome. I liked him. But I didn't like the fact that it felt a bit like an insta-love happened. He was a believable character, somewhat predictable, the fact that he was an Invalid was a bit predictable. But that might just be me.
Plot:
The book began with Lena waking up to the smell of oranges. She had to help Grace, her cousin, to peel it. From there, it all just started flowing! I loved the way the book was written. It didn't seem too rushed and I was quite satisfied with the ending. I kept thinking, how the fuck will she get out of this one?! HOW! Because it just seemed impossible for her to get out of this one! I still really want to know what happens to Grace. It's really good because it makes you want to know what happens to the characters.I would love to continue on with the series and I will as soon as I can put my hands on the other two books!
Also, a song that could go perfectly with this book is Heart Attack by Demi Lovato.

If you like The Big Bang Theory or Sherlock Holmes, you will love this teen rendition of Sherlock Holmes combined with the unconsciousness of Sheldon Cooper. Mostly because Colin is a 14 years old boy with the Asperger's syndrome. One day, a gunshot goes off in the school cafeteria and whilst everyone is running everywhere, trying to get out of the cafeteria, Colin is intrigued by this gunshot and he is starting to investigate the scene of the crime. Or something like that.
The plot is really well made and written and I really liked the occasional informative little notes at the bottom of the pages. It was really nice to see how this book goes and I really liked the pacing and the way the story went (I'm sorry if I'm being repetitive. I can't fathom my thoughts into constellations) .
Also, this happened:
I THINK I MADE A NEW FRIEND! I cannot wait for the sequel!
Characters:
Colin is one of the best characters I've ever read about. He is so complex and wonderful! I love the fact that even if he has Asperger's he doesn't get insulted when people pick on him at school because of this. He is a really smart person and he likes and is very good at math. I love math! It's brilliant. I was rubbish at it in middle school. Really good at it in high school! There is also this lovely character called Mellisa. She is the main love interest. She is so lovely! She does not judge Colin and she is so nice with him! Colin is so awkward around her! I still love them both. There still is Wayne, who is his bully but after the gunshot incident they become friends after Colin told him that he's sure he's not guilty. It's heart warming to see this kind of things happening in books!
Plot:
This book is not written in Colin's exact point of view. By this I mean that at every new chapter there's this "note" in which Colin talks about something. He had that already written in his special Notebook, but in general this book is written in 3rd person. This really made the book stand out and give you details about how the outside world looked and it also gave the story a bit of dimension. I think that it couldn't've been written in a 1st person narration because everything might've seemed a bit strange and all over the place in Colin's mind to the outside world. Please don't hate me if I'm wrong. The plot is really well made and written and I really liked the occasional informative little notes at the bottom of the pages. It was really nice to see how this book goes and I really liked the pacing and the way the story went (I'm sorry if I'm being repetitive. I can't fathom my thoughts into constellations) .

In "A Study in Scarlet" Sherlock Holmes investigates a murder at Lauriston Gardens as Dr. Watson tags along with Holmes while narratively detailing his amazing deductive abilities.
I read this a few months ago just out of sheer curiosity, and, boy, wasn't it worth it!
Characters:
This book is BRILLIANT! I don't even know why I'm writing a review for the characters! BECAUSE I SHOULDN'T! John and Sherlock are both brilliant! There is no way I could write an acceptable review for this book! John is so brilliant and loyal! I love him! Sherlock is the brilliant young man that knows the answer to the question before you even ask it. He knew who was the killer from the beginning! Right after they went to the lone hotel to investigate the body who was the killer and how that happened. He's brilliant! That's why I love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books! Some people say the don't reflect reality and they're simply fiction (my mum), but things written in these books are still used to solve murders these days! They still use the whipping of the body! I think!
Plot:
This book is narrated by Dr. John Watson who does a brilliant job at doing so! This book starts off with Dr. John Watson coming back from Afganistan and him looking for a cheap place to live. Then he meets with an old friend and that old friend makes his acquaintance to Sherlock Holmes, a brilliant young man, with the brain of the doctor, who chose to be the only consulting detective in the world. From there, it all went down. Not literally, nor figuratively. This is the moment in which Dr. John Watson becomes Sherlock Holmes "assistant". It's really a brilliant book because it makes your brain work and I think that's simply awesome! It makes you wonder HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?! I cannot write anything about the plot without being repetitive. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a brilliant writer and he did a marvelous job with these books. In comparison with the BBC series, Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock seems a lot dumber than the Sherlock from this book. There are a slight few changes, so the episode can be more modern, but the series is very true to the book.
I have written these in the course of 3 days because of procrastination and th unableness of my thoughts not constellating.
Goodbye,
E.
