I've had this tab open for the last 10 minutes and I still haven't written anything. Why. This is why I am the master of procrastination. I can't not procrastinate.
Now I don't know why I opened the tab in the first place.
You probably noticed my absence from this blog. Which I doubt. But if you did notice it, here's the reason. I'VE BEEN TO UNI! And yes, I did have internet, but I didn't have time. Cuz I had to read like a fuck load of stuff for uni. I'm aspiring to become a River Song. As in, I'm studying archaeology, if you didn't know before. So imagine me being this in 3-4 years:
And, I mean, imagine that exact scene. Me killing Silents. Because yes. That's what I will find in archaeological sites, Silents, not bones, or pottery (because that's what we mostly find), and yes. I will be a River Song.
But the actual reason for why I am the master of procrastination is this: today I was supposed to read for a seminar, but then I didn't because I kept postponing it, by eating and doing my nails and watching Once Upon a Time and I don't like this! I don't like this one bit! I really wanted to read! But noo! Fuck! Well. I will read tomorrow, hopefully.
But anyway! I hope you people have a great winter break and a even greater Christmas and New Year! And good luck on your exams!
I will be back whenever.

OH MY FUCKING GOD!
THE NEW DOCTOR WHO EPISODE HAPPENED! AND OH MY GOD! IT WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT!
IT WAS SO GOD OH MY GOD I AM AT A LOSS OF WORDS!
I obviously watched the first episode last week and I kinda lost my shit cuz that was awesome too. BUT THAT ONE DOES NOT COMPARE TO THIS ONE!
The first one was obviously introductory, so it couldn't have been extraordinary, the way David Tennants' first episode wasn't all that brilliant.
I LOVE PETER CAPALDI AS THE DOCTOR OH MY GOD!! He is SO FUCKING AWESOME! He's SO different to the other Doctors! All of them are different from each other but THIS ONE IS AWESOME! It's like he's this entirely new other Doctor, literally. Cuz he forgot who he is and what he's doing and OH MY GOD I LOVE HIM! HE'S SO SASSY AND FUNNY AND WHAT! He's like a NEWBORN! And he totally reminds me of Drax from GotG because he don't get sarcasm.
BUT THIS EPISODE ITSELF WAS SO FUCKING GOOD OH SHIT!
The Moff wrote it, apparently.
IT WAS SO COOL OH MY GOOOOOOD!
IT WAS SO OLD SCHOOL AND IT REMINDED ME OF THE ECCLESTON ERA I LOVED IT SO MUCH HOLY SHIT! I love it because we have NO FUCKING IDEA who that chick in Heaven is and things aren't driven by the Doctor trying to stop her, the way it's been with Matts' Doctor, and things just HAPPEN! And I LOVE IT! CAPALDI WILL BE SO GOOD OH MY GOD!
AND THE NEXT EPISODE LOOKS SO PROMISING GOOOOOOD I'M SO EXCITED!
Okay, I'm done. Bye.

Hmph hmph hmph.
You know how when youtubers don't know what videos to make and they just do a tag?
WELCOME TO THE WOULD YOU RATHER TAG -- BOOKTUBE/BLOG EDITION!
HAHAHA I'M SOOOO FUNNY!
Anywho, I had several attempts at writing a coherent blog post and I kinda failed, so I need to do something EASY! and that I will enjoy writing.
ON TO THE QUESTIONS!
1. Read only trilogies or stand-alones?
Obviously trilogies. I might go to hell for saying this, but I kinda got sick of contemporaries. And whenever I read one, I NEED to read a fantasy book from a series asap!
2. Read only female or male authors?
Most of the books that I love are written by female authors. I HATE THIS QUESTION!
The books I've read by men were all brilliant and some of my favourite. I have read mostly women authors, so I will go for only male authors, because I need to go there! And read more male written books because they are really good!
3. Shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon?
Neither.
4. All books become movies or t.v. shows?
TV shows for obvious reasons.
5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
I kinda already read only 5 pages a day because I'm too lazy to read throught the day, unless I'm on the toilet or something, and I read mostly at night so, I'd rather read 5 pages a day, than 5 books a week, because I can't and don't like reading so much in a week/day, I couldn't do it.
6. Be a professional reviewer or author?
I CAN'T CHOOSE! I already suck at reviewing books (duuh) , but I'd love to be an author.
7. Only read your top 20 favorite books over and over or always read new ones that you haven't read before?
Read new books that I've never read, obviously.
8. Be a librarian or book seller?
Librarian, because I can't persuade people into buying things.
9. Only read your favorite genre, or every genre except your favorite?
I will ALWAYS choose fantasy! Fantasty includes MANY OTHER GENRES! It has dystopian and supernatural and EVERYTHING THAT IS AWESOME IN THE UNIVERSE! So, yeah, fantasy.
10. Only read physical books or eBooks?
I can get eBooks easily on my iPod and they're cheaper, and I really can't afford buying physical books. But I still love physical books. I adore them! But I find it a lot easier to read on my iPod, because I can read whenever and wherever I want. Even if it's a pain in the ass to my eyes.
So, The Hunger Games is on tv so k bye.
Also, a gentle reminder,

Booktube-a-thon - Day 3 - I suck.
I went on a trip yesterday so I didn't actually read that much so I'z got a reason for not reading too much. I read as follows:
5 pages from Made of Steel (Doctor Who book)
30 pages of Scott Pilgrim 2 (which I finished)
30 pages of Scott Pilgrim 3
30 pages of Son of Neptune
_______________________________________
Total: 95 pages.
Yep.
At least I tried. I might try to finish the rest of the Scott Pilgrim novels, because I have people coming over in the weekend.
Goodbye.
16 July, 2014
Booktube-a-thon - day 2 - I tried
Sooo yesterday I read a bit more. I finished the first Scott Pilgrim graphic novel (watwatwat!) and then I read almost all of the second one and then I read about 43 pages from Son of Neptune.
In total I read:
THAT'S REALLY FUCKING AWESOME! Really proud of myself. Now, I have to keep up the good work and read some more until tomorrow. YAY!
Like I'm gonna read. I'M TOO TIRED FOR THIS SHIT!
K, bye.
In total I read:
Scott Pilgrim 1 - 46 pages
Scott Pilgrim 2 - 155 pages
Son of Poseidon - 43 pages
_________________________
Total - 244 pages
Like I'm gonna read. I'M TOO TIRED FOR THIS SHIT!
K, bye.

Booktube-a-thon - day 1 (which was yesterday) - I'm already failing.
Soooo yesterday was meh. I didn't read all that much. Almost nothing. I was away most of the day and I didn't read, even if I could've. I was in the car for about 30% of the time I was away.
Oh well. I read about 6% of Son of Neptune, which is about 26 pages on my iPod, or 32.4 pages from the actual book. Well, I do suck. I'm not exactly sorry. I might read more today, and finish some Scott Pilgrim. I'm going to university to register tomorrow and I will have a lot of time to read, so I'll try to read then :\ I'm taking a short Doctor Who book with me, about 100 pages, which I'm hoping to finish in the car. Also, I finished watching Lovely Complex yesterday, so that's another reason I sucked balls at it.
Anywho, I'm gonna try to read something today. At least finish one Scott Pilgrim novel. C'mon, they're 150 pages each and they're really fast to read!
k. Goodbye,
D.

I may regret this.
THE BOOKTUBEATHON IS HAPPENING NEXT WEEK AND HOLY SHIT! I'm kinda scared. I want to participate, as I haven't read that much this year because school and, well. I need to catch up. SO! I have decided that I will try to participate this year.
If you don't know what the booktubeathon is go check out their official YouTube channel and Twitter! More info there!
First off, there are some things I need to get clear. Last year I didn't participate, but I tried to participate in a later one but I gave up after the first day. And this week is a tiny bit busy, but not too busy. I'm going to university to register myself and that's going to take a full day, but I still have about 5 hours of traveling in total. I don't know. I might not get to read that much. And I'm probably jinxing it right now with this post. I promised myself that I wouldn't do it, but oh well.
Second off, there are some challenges that you can take and I might attempt doing them.
To complete the books with pictures, finish a series, genre I've least read and a book to movie adaptation I'll be reading all 6 volumes of Scott Pilgrim. This is probably cheating, but they're 6 MOTHER FUCKING VOLUMES! And they're all about 150 pages each. I will be watching the movie probably next weekend or something.
For the book with red on the cover, I'll be finishing Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan.
HIS NAME IS RED! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! IT COUNTS! Totally counts.
As for a book that someone chose for me, I asked a friend to choose between TFiOS, Warm Bodies, Anna and the French Kiss, This is What Happy Looks Like and The Geography of You and Me, and he chose This is What Happy Looks Like. HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE CHOSE MUHAHA! Yes, I am kinda evil. Well.
If my math is correct, I might end up reading 8 books in the booktubeathon. Which I hope to accomplish. So, I am going to try to do this! Good.
I'm leaving now.
Goodbye,
D.

I'M BAAACK! And I bring review.
I'M BAAAACK!
It's been a while. A long while.
:D:D:D:D:D
I have passed my horrible exams. And I'm happy. So I can not blog more than I did before. YAY! I haven't been reding as much as I wished I did, but I couldn't. I've been reading The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan for the past 3 weeks, and I really wanna finish it cuz I'Z GOT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END HOLY JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH!
So, as I was saying, I have a review for you today. I am back with a review for City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare.
SYNOPSIS:
In this dazzling and long-awaited conclusion to the acclaimed Mortal Instruments series, Clary and her friends fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Clary's own brother.
Sebastian Morgenstern is on the move, systematically turning Shadowhunter against Shadowhunter. Bearing the Infernal Cup, he transforms Shadowhunters into creatures out of nightmare, tearing apart families and lovers as the ranks of his Endarkened army swell.
The embattled Shadowhunters withdraw to Idris - but not even the famed demon towers of Alicante can keep Sebastian at bay. And with the Nephilim trapped in Idris, who will guard the world against demons?
When one of the greatest betrayals the Nephilim have ever known is revealed, Clary, Jace, Isabelle, Simon, and Alec must flee - even if their journey takes them deep into the demon realms, where no Shadowhunter has set foot before, and from which no human being has ever returned...
Love will be sacrificed and lives lost in the terrible battle for the fate of the word in the thrilling final installment of the classic urban fantasy series The Mortal Instruments!
THOUGHTS
I liked it. At first I thought it was like holy shit the best thing in the world. I was infatuated with it. But whilst reading it I kind had some issues with it. The writing style was BRILLIANT! And everything was beautifully done. But I feel like everything was too perfect. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Simon didn't die, nor did any other characters that I love, but it was too perfect. People might hate me for saying this, because this is fiction, and even fantasy, and I might not be right, but in life people die, and it doesn't matter if they're your favourite people or not, especially because there was war in the book. But this was actually balanced out by everything else. One death that made me so shocked and it made me feel stuff was the death of Raphael. I was so shocked and soooo saddnened by this, you don't even know. I teared up, and I barely cry at books. I was expecting him to die, I wasn't spoiled, but I was still shocked and I suffered for him, even if he's not my favourite character, he's really cool. I really wished he got to live. Holy shit I'm crying again. For some reason, not many people were devastated by his death. Well. Another aspect I didn't really get and I thought was kinda meh, was the Maia POV. I kinda get why she wanted to brake up with him, but the rest I didn't get. Well. That's just my opinion.
The thing that made me sob like a fuck lot was the part when Simon, my dear, dear Simon, my love, thought he was in The Hunger Games and volunteered as a tribute for Magnus' father. I was reading in bed and I had to get out of the house to read further and calm down because I didn't want my parents to hear me cry. I cried for a good 10 to 15 minutes. And then when I stopped I remembered that Simon forgot everything and then I cried some more. When a character forgets everything that happened is worse then that character dying. And Simon is my favourite character in this series. And I couldn't take it.
This book had its share of wtfs and funny stuff and the ending was really funny. I think I would've enjoyed the book more if I wasn't stupid enough to spoil myself with the ending and what happens with Simon. The thing with Simon's band being called "The Mortal Instruments" was like HOLY FUCK NOPENOPENOPE YOU DID FUCKING NOT! And I kinda cried again and it was so lovely and beautiful wow. And Jem, stahp stealing cats. And Sizzy, stop being so fucking cute.
All in all, this book was actually a really good conclusion to a really good series, compared to other shitty endings for series *cough*allegiant*cough*. However, my favourite will remain Champion because that one made me feel stuff.

Collective book haul thing.
I'm bored. I'm procrastinating like a pro and I should totally study atm. Well.
Here are some books I have gathered in the last few months. Brace yourself; they're not that many.
Basically, I'm very excited to read these. I must note that William Shakespeare's Star Wars was my birthday gift for my brother. YAY! Okay, I hope you liked this. I might vlog my TFiOS movie experience if I feel like it.
Anywho.
Goodbye,
D.
P.S.: I forgot, I also got The Only Boy by Jordan Locke. She was kind enough to send it to me in return of an honest review and I'll read it this summer. Good.

Yes, it's been a while. BUT my poit is that TWO LOVE, ROSIE TEASER TRAILERS DROPPED JUST NOW AND I KINDA LOST MY SHIT! I was reminded why I loved this book and how AWESOME this movie will be. I'm so god damn happy right now! I love Lily Collins and THANKFULLY! she has a british accent in the movie and I CAN'T! I HAVE OFFICIALLY LOST MY SHIT!
THIS MOVIE WILL BE SO AWESOME! And full of feels, and me crying.
I was grinning constantly when watching the teasers THEY'RE SO ADORABLE! And I kinda did the same when reading the book, except when I was all
Or
Or
Which was basically 95% of the reading experience.
Basically, I will end in a puddle of tears when the movie happens. And I will not be able to hakuna my tatas.
And without further ado, there are the teasers and the posters. YAY!
ALSOALSOALSO I JUST REMEMBERED THAT THE MUSIC ON BOTH TEASERS IS FROM ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BANDS! I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!
THESE ARE SO GREAT I CAN'T! It's adorable. FINALLY! A romance movie about AWKWARD LOVE! Suits me right *self five*
Anywho, this has been it. Good bye!
